TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught numerous ensembles at Schroeder and Thomas High Schools and Willink Middle School, including concert bands, jazz ensembles, small group lessons, and extra-curricular chamber ensembles. I helped design the curriculum for a music technology class, have advised an after school music technology club, and was the stage manager for school music performances and outside dance companies. I have been a lead teacher for the high school music department, and have served on numerous job interview committees. I have organized numerous music department trips to Disney World, New York City, and Boston. My ensembles have performed at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival, the Webster Jazz Festival, New York State School Music Association major organization festivals and Winter Conference sessions. My students have been selected to perform at All-County, Area All-State, Conference All-State, and All-National Ensembles.
